Answers to common questions, and help getting back into your account.
Get the Vamoset app
Signing in
The Vamoset web app now lives at app.vamoset.com. Your account, tournaments, series and stats are all there.
Do I need a new account?
No. Sign in with the same account as before: your results, series and stats are all still there.
Which sign-in should I use?
Use the same account as before. Enter your email on the sign-in screen and we send you a code: that works for every account with an email address. Google works too. Sign in with Apple is in the iPhone app only, so if you created your account with Apple, sign in from the app.
I have forgotten my password
You do not need it: enter your email on the sign-in screen and we send you a code to sign in with.
The code or link in my email does not work
Each code or link works once, and only for a short time. Ask for a new one and use the newest email. A code also stops working after five wrong tries, so ask for a new one then too. If it still fails, write to us.
My home-screen icon opens the old address
Old icons cannot be updated from our side. Open it once and follow the steps on screen: remove the old icon first, then get the app, or add app.vamoset.com to your home screen.
I have ended up with two accounts
If you signed up again by mistake, open Settings in the new account and use “Is this a second account?” to join it to your old one: your results come with it. If that does not work, write to us with both email addresses and how you signed in to each. Your results stay with your account while we sort it out.
Your account, history and subscription
Where are my results and history?
They belong to your account, not to a device. In the app, Activity has your tournaments and matches and My Stats has your form and history. Sign in with the same account on iPhone, Android or the web app and you see the same history.
A result is missing from my history
A result counts for you once the organiser has ended the tournament and your name is linked to your account. Ask the organiser to check that you were added as yourself, not as a guest with the same name. If it still does not appear, write to us with the tournament code.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Where you bought it decides where you manage it. Bought in the iPhone app: iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Bought in the Android app: Google Play, Payments and subscriptions. Bought in the web app: Settings, then Manage subscription.
I paid, but the app does not show Pro or Club
Check that you are signed in with the account you bought it on. In the app, open Settings and tap Restore purchases. If it still shows the wrong plan, write to us and we will sort it out.
Frequently asked questions
General
What is Vamoset?
Vamoset is a padel scoring app. Score a normal match point by point, or run Americano, Mexicano and our own Matsicano® tournaments with every point live on every phone and the big screen. Your results build your stats, and clubs and series keep a whole season together.
Do I need an account?
You can join and spectate any tournament without an account. To organise tournaments, track your personal stats, and join series or clubs, you'll need a free account.
Is it free?
Vamoset is free to download and free to start. With a free account you can play in any tournament, score matches and organise tournaments for up to 4 players. Pro and Club are paid plans: Pro runs tournaments for up to 16 players with your full stats, and Club adds series, clubs and up to 32 players.
What devices does it work on?
Vamoset is an app for iPhone and Android, free to download from the App Store and Google Play. On a computer you can also use the web app in any modern browser, which is handy for the big screen.
What's the difference between Pro and Club?
Pro is for individual players who want bigger tournaments (up to 16 players) and full stats history. Club is for organisers. It includes everything in Pro plus the ability to create series, manage clubs, and run events with up to 32 players.
Account
How do I sign up?
Tap "Create free account" and enter your email: we send you a code, no password needed. You can also use Google, or Apple in the iPhone app.
How do I update my profile?
Go to Settings from the menu. You can update your display name, username, avatar, bio, and country flag.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom, then tap "Delete account". Your sign-in and profile are deleted; your results stay in other players’ standings without your name. Deleting does not cancel a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play: cancel that first.
Tournaments
How do I start a tournament?
Tap Play and choose "Run a tournament". Pick a format, add players, give it a name and tap Start. Share the code or QR so others can follow along live.
Can someone else enter scores?
Yes. Share the scorer QR code with a helper. They can enter scores from their phone without needing an account.
What formats are supported?
Americano, Mexicano and our own Matsicano®, each with a Flex version for odd numbers of players and a team version with fixed partners, plus a normal match scored 15, 30, 40. Visit "How to Play" for a full breakdown of each format.
How many players can I run a tournament for?
Free accounts support up to 4 players. Pro supports up to 16, and Club supports up to 32.
Can I reopen a tournament to fix scores?
Yes. Find the tournament in "Activity", tap it, and choose Reopen. You can adjust scores and end it again when done. Stats and leaderboards update automatically.
Ranking & ties
How does the app decide who moves up a court?
While a tournament is running, the standings are the seeding. Players are ranked on total points, and when two are level the one who scored higher in the most recent match is placed above. The next round then pairs 1st and 3rd against 2nd and 4th, so that order is exactly what decides which court you play on. It's why a player who wins their match can move ahead of someone on the same points: they were the challenger, and they took the place.
Two players finished on the same points. Why do they share a place?
Because the tournament is over. While you're playing, the rank is a seeding and ties have to be split so the next round can be paired. At the finish it's a result, and level is level: both players get the same place, and the next player down is pushed past both. A tie for 5th reads 5, 5, 7, not 5, 6, 7. Shared places count as shared medals, so a shared first place gives both players a gold in their stats.
If two players tie at the top, who wins?
Both of them. At the finish, players level on points share the place: the table shows them both first, they stand on the top step of the podium together, and both get a gold in their stats. The next player down is placed third.
Series & Clubs
What is a series?
A series is a season of linked tournaments. Each event contributes to a cumulative standings table, great for regular padel groups, leagues, and weekly sessions.
What is a club?
A club is a group of players organised around a venue or community. Club owners can create series, manage members, and give their group a home page with a logo, location, and description.
Who can create a series or club?
Creating and managing series and clubs requires a Club subscription. Any player, on any plan, can join a series or club for free.
Stats & Matches
What shows up in My Stats?
Your stats page shows your average score trend, W/L record, podium finishes, best partners, rivals, recent form, and achievements, all filterable by time period. It combines data from both tournaments and standard matches.
Can I play a normal match, scored 15, 30, 40?
Yes, free on every plan. Tap Play, then Play a match. Pick 2 or 4 players and a format (best of 1, 3 or 5 sets, golden point, advantage or star point), then score it point by point, game by game, or enter the result when you finish. Every match counts in your stats.
